The Predator Bow is a new weapon in Genshin Impact that is exclusive for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players. Genshin Impact is currently hosting a crossover event with PlayStation to promote Horizon Zero Dawn, one of the most beloved PlayStation 4 titles of the last generation. PlayStation players are exclusively able to unlock Aloy, the main protagonist of Horizon Zero Dawn, as a 5-star bow user in Genshin Impact. This is the first time Genshin Impact has had a crossover event that included a new character.
Normally, 5-star characters are incredibly rare in Genshin Impact. Outside the main player character, 5-star characters can only be obtained through the game's Wish mechanic. It's a slot machine that only promises the chance of getting a 5-star character. In new Wish banners, these chances are as low as 0.3%, but they do increase with each roll. In the case of Aloy, players will need to have their Adventure Rank at level 20. Then, they can simply log into the game and find this character in their mailbox. She will remain available for a year before she expires, so players must claim her before then.
Aloy isn't the only new addition to come to Genshin Impact in this crossover. She also comes with the Predator Bow. The bow itself is created from wood and metal materials that come only from Horizon Zero Dawn. Like the character, the bow is exclusively available to PlayStation users. Here's how players can obtain it in Genshin Impact.
Similar to collecting Aloy, players will be able to collect the Predator Bow only if they have reached Adventure Rank 20. Then, they can log into the game on PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4 and head over to the in-game mailbox. There will be a letter titled "Platform-Exclusive Weapon Reward on PlayStation - Predator" within. They need to interact with the letter, and the Predator Bow will appear in their inventory. Players will want to collect this as soon as possible before the crossover event is over.
The Predator Bow itself is made to be used with Aloy since it features the Strong Strike Passive and favors Cryo damage. Since Aloy is a Cryo character in Genshin Impact, this is a perfect fit. Other bow-users can also use the Predator Bow, however.
Players looking to boost Aloy even further will need to collect items from the newest area added to the game, Inazuma. She requires Spectural Husks, Crystal Marrow, and Crystalline Blooms to properly level up. Aloy will be available in Genshin Impact on other platforms on November 24 with the release of version 2.2.
