THE Love Island baby challenge is one of the show’s most popular tasks, pushing its contestants to the limit.
So when will it be back this year?

Islanders are woken up by a chorus of screams from a number of baby dolls in what usually becomes the biggest test of their relationships so far.
Every couple is assigned a baby, and becomes new “parents”, from feeding to changing nappies, they have to be there for their baby’s every need.
This is often a reality check for the Islanders, as they struggle to rise to the challenge.
This task has often been towards the end of the series, so if they are including it in the 2021 season the babies should be arriving soon..

The 2018 baby challenge saw a buggy race between Dr Alex George and Jack Fincham, where Dr Alex dropped his baby, and islander Josh Denzel accidentally pulled off an arm of his doll.
In 2017, contestants Olivia Attwood and Chris Hughes famously gave their baby the name Cash Hughes a play on the word ‘cashews’
The next year saw fans outraged that the babies were being given the fathers last name, labelling it “sexist” and “not progressive”.
The challenge often makes for sweet moments too, like Ovo Soko’s bucket hat wearing baby.
