NEWS: Vees Add To Blue Line With Addition Of Nicky Wallace For 2021/22 Season

PENTICTON, BC. – The Penticton Vees Hockey Club is pleased to announce the commitment of D Nicky Wallace (’03) for the 2021/22 season.
Wallace, 18, comes to the Peach City after playing in the United States Hockey League (USHL) during the 2020/21 season with the Waterloo Black Hawks, the same team as incoming Vees forward Dane Montgomery also suited up for. The 5’9”, 174-pound defender collected 3 assists in 31 games played with the Black Hawks a season ago.
The Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey native spent two seasons with the North Jersey Avalanche U16 team before his career in Junior hockey began, captaining the squad in his second season, posting 2 goals and 21 assists for 23 points in 36 career games played with the program. His play with the Avalanche was recognized by Quinnipiac University as Wallace has committed to the Bobcats after his Junior hockey career comes to a close.

The Vees would like to welcome Nicky and his family to the organization, the city of Penticton and the South Okanagan.
The Vees will begin their 2021/22 season on Friday, October 8th in renewing a historic rivalry against the Vernon Vipers at the South Okanagan Events Centre. Season tickets for the upcoming campaign are now available to purchase with ticket packages available for as low as $9 per game.
