July 21 – Univision is reporting its highest viewing figure in the US for the group stages of the Gold Cup since 2011 and overall a 25% increase across matches aired so far.
Broadcast on TUDN, the Spanish-language broadcaster delivered 3.79 million Total Viewers 2+ and 2.04 million Adults 18-49 for the group deciding game between Mexico and El Salvador at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas.
It was a game that Mexico needed to win to top the group having surprisingly drawn their opening match against Trinidad and Tobago 0-0.
