Ramona Singer broke down in the newest episode of The Real Housewives of New York after a psychic channeled her dead brother Bohdan Mazur. Most of the Big Apple women and fans had no idea about her tragic family past as the mother of one broke down during the psychic reading. While at times Singer can come off as a pain in the butt, Bravo fans really felt a pang of empathy towards the reality TV star and hope that she got some closure on the matter.
The Real Housewives of New York season 13 is not garnering the attention that the network had hoped for. The season has opened to shockingly low ratings. Many have blamed newbie Eboni K. Williams and her preaching ways, but some believe the OG's like Singer and Luann de Lesseps are a tired timeline. Singer, in particular, is best known for her over-the-top antics and reckless attitude. The mother of one may have worn out her welcome as times have changed, and fans are questioning if she still belongs on the show.
On Tuesday's episode, Singer was forced to relive her brother's self-destructive behavior after a seance brought his spirit into the circle. The ladies had gone on a girl's trip to Salem, Massachusetts, and Singer was genuinely shocked when her brother made an appearance. Bravo fans noted that Singer traveled with a photo of her father in hopes he would be the one to come through. In the episode, the 64-year-old housewife said she and her "lost soul" of a brother were very close in age. At the time of his death, Singer spoke to Us Weekly, saying that she was no longer close with her brother, but she formed a close bond with her niece after the tragic accident. Bohdan's destructive behavior hit an all-time high in 2014 when he sold drugs. He also wrote a book about his time as a drug dealer.
Showbiz Cheat Sheet shared some details about his passing. Bohdan passed away in 2017 when he was only 59. The outlet shared that he died after suffering a heart attack while driving. Due to being behind the wheel, he swerved off the road and rammed into a tree. It was reported that he was on his way to the hospital at the time of the accident.
Bohdan allegedly spent years in prison after he was arrested. On the episode of RHOBH, Singer cried and revealed she had harbored so much guilt towards the situation during the spiritual meeting but was happy to hear that he was better off. The psychic hinted that Bohdan was still lost even on the other side but would now hopefully find peace. Hopefully, the seance gave Singer some peace of mind as the medium claimed Bohdan is at peace with his death, and he’s sorry for hurting his sister.
