Connie Britton is opening up about a possible revival of Friday Night Lights.
The 54-year-old actress starred on the series as Tami Taylor from 2006-2011, and is making a prediction about if it’s possible that there will be a reboot of the show.

Talking with Entertainment Tonight, Connie doesn’t think there will be a reboot at all.
“We’ll do a reunion for sure, like a cast reunion, [but] I don’t see them going back into that story, at least with this cast,” she shared.
Connie adds that she’s “heard inklings a few years ago that they were gonna make another Friday Night Lights. Now meanwhile, we know we’ve already had a movie, we already had this TV show, and then if they were to do it again with like, a whole different iteration of it, I don’t know. I would think that would be sort of odd.”
She also shared that while it would “be nice to see where Coach and Tammy are 15 years down the line,” she doesn’t see “us going back into those stories and those particular characters’ lives.”
Friday Night Lights, also starring Kyle Chandler, Minka Kelly and Taylor Kitsch, centered on the rural town of Dillon, Texas, where winning the state football championship is prized above all else.
Coach Eric Taylor guides a high school football team through pressure-filled seasons while dealing with struggles relating to his own family. The interactions between the team members, current and former players, supporters, coaching staff and regular townsfolk address many of the issues facing small-town America.
Connie is now starring in HBO Max’s The White Lotus. See the trailer here…
