The small, standalone program provides the altitude (angle above the horizon) for the Sun, Moon, four bright planets, and the 50+ stars traditionally used by navigators. With that information and the help from a form and several navigation publications you can find a line of position (LOP) or derive a fix without any radio aids to navigation.
