START your engines – there’s a new F1 game pulling in right now.
We’ve got all the details on the F1 2021 release date, news and early reviews.
F1 2021 is the latest in a series of hugely popular racing games.
It’s the official game of the 2021 Formula One season, and is published by EA Sports.
And the good news is that it’s widely available.
You’ll be able to get it on Xbox Series X and S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4 and Windows PC.
Sadly, it’s not available for Nintendo Switch or Mac.
F1 2021 is available to play globally from July 16, 2021.
However, that’s only true for the Standard Edition of the game.
If you buy the pricier F1 2021 Deluxe Edition, you get early access.
This early access period kicks off on July 13 – giving you an extra three days of gameplay.
The game features a number of iconic and newcomer circuits, including Imola, Jeddah Marina Bay, Melbourne, Montreal, Portimão and Shanghai.
You’ll also be able to play as a number of classic drives, including Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg.
Reviews for the game have been largely positive so far.
On Metacritic, the game currently holds scores of 85% (PC), 84% (PS5) and 87% (Xbox Series X).
