On July 7, Iran held a ceremony that saw the delivery of modern equipment and weapons to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Ground Force.
For the first time, Iran unveiled the ground-launched version of the “Almas” anti-tank guided missile (ATGM). Previously, an air-launched version of the Almas ATGM, with a range of the 8 kilometers, was shown last year. These missiles were adopted as part of the weapons complex of the Iranian reconnaissance and strike UAVs.
Almas’ ground-launcher is almost an identical copy of the Israeli Spike ATGM.

The IRGC ground forces also received new Iranian guided missile systems with missiles in large launch pod containers. They are another example of advanced systems developed on the border between operational and tactical missile systems and large-caliber MLRS with guided missiles.
Another rocket shown during the ceremony is similar in size to a Fajr-4 333-mm guided missile or a Fateh-110 610-mm short-range attack missiles.
A locally-upgraded AH-1 Cobra attack helicopter armed with the locally-made Qaem-114, a copy of the US AGM-114 Hellfire, was showcased.
