WWE star Bayley OUT of Money in the Bank PPV title match after suffering injury and facing nine months on sidelines
WWE have announced that Bayley is out of her Money in the Bank PPV title match after suffering a major injury while training.
The former SmackDown Women’s Champion is set to be out of action for NINE months after sustaining an as-of-yet unreleased injury.
Bayley was slated to challenge Bianca Belair for the blue brand’s women’s title in an “I Quit Match” match next weekend.
Plenty of the 32-year-old’s fellow WWE stars have already sent messages of support on social media.

Sonya Deville tweeted: “I’m not alone in saying this news makes my heart hurt, but that being said 9 months from now we can expect one badass return. We will be waiting.”
Mia Yim added: “[Bayley] is one of the toughest I know. Speedy recovery and sending all the love to you. Thank you for always being you.”
Tyson Kidd wrote: “This is so heartbreaking. [Bayley] is so beloved by everyone, and will be greatly missed-both in ring and backstage.
“With that being said, your comeback and return await you, and I can only imagine how amazing you’ll be when that happens!”
WWE have since confirmed that a replacement for Bayley will be revealed Friday night on SmackDown.
The former Hugger had been embroiled in a months-long feud with Belair after the EST of WWE won the title at WrestleMania back in April.

After adopting her current heel persona before the start of the pandemic, Bayley has become one of the top stars of the empty-arena era.
She told Sports Illustrated in May: “I’m very proud of the past year. I believed I could I do it, and I knew I had so much more to give.
“I took that Bayley around the world and did all I could do, giving my heart to the fans, but it was time for a change.
“I have a lot of freedom, and I’m really grateful that WWE, the writers and Vince [McMahon] have given me the platform to let me be me.”
