Spencer Pratt called his co-stars on The Hills: New Beginnings "the worst people ever" while replying to a fan on Twitter. The new season premiered back in May on MTV, and the second season is coming to an end soon. Longtime co-stars are yet to comment on his dig at the new cast. Spencer is no stranger to airing out his opinions about his co-stars from The Hills, especially on social media. Aside from The Hills, Spencer has appeared on other reality shows, including Celebrity Big Brother UK and I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!
In the past, Spencer and wife Heidi Montag were known as the villains and trouble makers of the series. Spencer made his mark on The Hills for being the enemy of fan-favorite Lauren Conrad. The bad blood between him and Lauren eventually got in the way of the friendship between her and fellow Hills co-star Heidi. Spencer and Heidi continued this behavior in the reboot of the show, The Hills: New Beginnings, where the cast is a mixture of some of the old stars as well as new cast members.
When a fan tweeted Spencer this week asking if any of the new Hills cast members had reached out to apologize for how they treated him and Heidi this season, Spencer quote-tweeted his reply by saying, "No they’re the worst people ever.” According to Page Six, a lot of drama has surrounded Spencer and Heidi this season, with the couple questioning the sobriety of fellow co-star Jason Wahler. This angered other cast members and created issues within the group.
Last year, Jason admitted that he slipped in his sobriety. With the support of his wife, Ashley Wahler, he is constantly working toward being better and not letting his insecurities get the best of him. Heidi is also rumored to not be in the best place with fellow Hills co-star Audrina Patridge and Ashley as well, so overall the couple is not getting along well with the rest of the cast. As far as Justin Bobby goes, it seems like everyone is over his bad boy persona.
Though these castmates are more frenemies than anything else, they always pull it together for the sake of another season of the much-loved series The Hills. Spencer and Heidi don't seem to mind being the bad guys if it means they're speaking their truth. Make sure to tune in to The Hills: New Beginnings, which airs Wednesday at 9pm on MTV.
