My hair is dry and frizzy in the best conditions, so you can only imagine what I’m working with during the hot and humid summer months. I’ve tried countless products over the years, and very few can keep my curls defined after a day or two.

As noted above, my hair is pretty dry, which means my curls look good for approximately 0.5 seconds before they start to get frizzy and not cute. I’ve come to accept this, for the most part, but I still hold out a sliver of hope that I’ll find a product to give me gorgeous curls for longer than a day without having to fully rewash my hair every single time.
Much to my surprise, the Briogeo Curl Charisma hair mask got me two days of soft, defined curls. That’s nothing short of a miracle!
After shampooing my hair, I applied the Briogeo Curl Charisma hair mask and let it sit for about 15 minutes. As soon as I started to rinse it out, I could tell it did something magical to my hair. After just that short period of time, my curls already felt softer and more supple. I finished my routine with the Curl Charisma Coil Custard and let my hair air dry as I usually do.
As my hair dried, I became convinced that the hair mask had made a huge difference. Normally, the hair around my face gets super dry and frizzy after only a few hours, but when I went to bed, those problem areas still looked good. Even the next day, after just a bit of refreshing with water in a spray bottle, my curls were still defined and fluffy, not matted together or frizzy. Talk about a major feat!
