Tristan Thompson wins $52k in libel lawsuit against Kimberly Alexander after falsely claiming NBA pro fathered her child
TRISTAN Thompson has won $52k in his libel lawsuit against Kimberly Alexander after her false claims that he fathered her child.
The NBA star, who shares three-year-old daughter True with reality star Khloe Kardashian, took a DNA test to prove he’s not the father of Kimberly’s five-year-old son.
Courts documents obtained by Us Weekly show Kimberly has been ordered to pay the Boston Celtics player $50,000 in general damages and costs of $2,901.95.
Tristan, 30, originally filed the lawsuit in May last year requesting $100,000 “for loss of reputation, shame, mortification, and hurt feelings.”
He also claimed that the false accusations had cost him endorsement deals as brands viewed him “as a troubled athlete”.
But the court ruled there was “insufficient evidence” to prove that Kimberly’s claims had caused this.
Khloe and Tristan, who have been dating on-and-off since 2016, sent a cease and desist letter to Kimberly, asking her to “immediately stop defaming them with malicious defamatory lies and specious fabrications.”
Tristan is said to have prepped Khloé, 36, for what was about to happen, even though a paternity test last year confirmed he was not the baby’s father.
Tristan revealed to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star that he “had sex” with Kimberly, which was a “one-night stand sometime during his rookie season in 2011-2012”.
Tristan also shares son Prince, four, with Jordan Craig.
This latest development comes as Khloe is said to have split from Tristan once again after he reportedly spent a wild night with three women.
According to Page Six, the famous couple actually parted ways a “few weeks ago.”
The insider added: “They’re getting along. There is no drama. Everything is amicable and they are on the same page with co-parenting.”

While earlier this year, the former couple has also been dealing with claims from model Sydney Chase that she hooked up “multiple times” with Tristan while he was with Khloe.
Khloe and Tristan first split in 2019 after he was caught yet again cheating on her with multiple women including sister Kylie Jenner’s best friend at the time, Jordyn Woods.
The Kardashian-Jenners cut Jordyn out of their lives, and Khloe broke up with Tristan – although the exes reconciled yet again during the pandemic in 2020.
