Jose Mourinho has claimed that Harry Kane will quite easily surpass Alan Shearer’s Premier League goal tally record if he remains in the league for the rest of his career.
Last night, thanks to his two goals against Everton, Kane surpassed Robbie Fowler into seventh on the all-time Premier League goals table. This now puts him just 96 behind Alan Shearer at the top on 260.
Mourinho argued that, in a normal season without injuries, Kane guarantees you a certain number of goals, enough to take him past the current leader.
