Crews from Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue rescued one person after a house in Beaverton caught fire, according to fire officials.
PORTLNAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Three residents and a dog are displaced from their Beaverton home after a fire broke out on the backside of a residence.
The dog and two occupants were able to escape but crews from Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue rescue one person. The person was uninjured and reunited with their dog, fire officials said.
The residence is located on the 6000 block of Southwest 167th Avenue. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The Northwest Weather Service issued a Red Flag Warning until 10 p.m. Friday due to abnormally high temperatures, low humidity and high wind. Today's weather conditions have resulted in multiple fires across the region rapidly spreading at higher rates than normal for this time of year, fire officials said.
