90 Day Fiancé: Rebecca Shows Appreciation for Son Brandon with IG Tribute
Rebecca Parrott's kids have been an important part of her journey toward marrying Zied Hakimi on season eight of 90 Day Fiancé. Though there was some tension early on in the season, her children seem to have come around to the idea of Rebecca marrying Zied and have welcomed him into the family. Rebecca has shown how close she is with her children, and she loves to gush about them and her grandchildren on the show. Rebecca recently posted a touching appreciation post for her son, Brandon, in an Instagram tribute.
Gaining her children's approval of the relationship was one of the main objectives Rebecca had once Zied made it to the U.S. In the early episodes of season eight of 90 Day Fiancé, Rebecca and Zied had to face her daughter Tiffany and son-in-law, Micah's concerns about the unconventional relationship. Tiffany was later involved when she invited Zied and Rebecca to dinner with her friend, which quickly turned uncomfortable once Rebecca started getting jealous.
Fans got to see more of Rebecca's children on 90 Day Fiancé when she and Zied went to visit Brandon's home and family. Watching Brandon open his home up to Zied and making him feel welcome was a very heartwarming moment on the show. It also showed another side of Zied, and that he really is great with kids despite the language barrier. When Rebecca is not posting about her life with Zied, she often uses her Instagram to rave about her children, like when earlier this year she posted some of her daughter Tiffany's art. In Rebecca's latest appreciation post for her son, she says that Brandon is "the best son I could've asked for" and that he is "always willing to give to others."
She goes on to say how much each of her children means to her and that "my only wish is for him to be loved and appreciated by those around him." Rebecca added that "one of the blessings in my life is watching his son and seeing a little copy of Brandon," saying "it's like I get to watch him grow again." Many people sent him love in the comments, saying he is "a great human being for sure" and that they could tell "he has a lot of love and respect" for Rebecca.
Rebecca was struggling in the recent episodes of 90 Day Fiancé after she learned she and Zied would have to expedite the date of the wedding in order to live together due to Ramadan. Though she did not seem happy about the change of plans for her fourth wedding, she went through with it anyway. She explained that due to concerns over the coronavirus, Brandon, his girlfriend, and their children would not even be there. Fans were disappointed that Brandon could not be there after the lasting impression he made in the episodes prior.
