D.C. United announces full 2021 MLS schedule

D.C. United’s schedule is out, and it only features 3 games outside of the Eastern Timezone. Jason gets into all the juicy details in his post, but it also features that same broadcast as last year: almost all games on WJLA 24/7 News with streaming available, within a geofence, on D.C. United’s website.

We are closely analyzing this footage, Zapruder-like, for any tidbits that we can find.

Philly MLS 25: Steve Rammel, the first MLS hat trick hero from West Deptford

Our friends over at Brotherly Game take a look at Philly native Steve Rammel, who scored the league’s first ever hat trick for D.C. United against the Columbus Crew.

Pinoe and Purce go to Washington

Megan Rapinoe and Midge Purce went to Washington as a part of Equal Pay Day, which is how far into the next year that white women must work to earn as much as a man makes in one year. Rapinoe testified at a committee hearing in the House of Representatives, and gave a powerful statement about equal pay.

Jen Psaki invited Megan Rapinoe and Midge Purce to take a turn at the White House Press Briefing room and to answer some questions, and Joe Biden and Jill Biden had them on hand for the signing of the official proclamation.
