KUWTK: Kylie Receives Backlash for Shameless IG Post Welcoming Spring
Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Kylie Jenner is yet again flaunting her wealth on social media, leaving fans quite irritated. Kylie is getting ready to welcome the season of spring with her bright-colored and expensive wardrobe. Her followers were quite bothered by a particular insensitive post, taking to the comments section to express their thoughts.
Out of the entire Kardashian-Jenner family, Kylie seems to get bashed the most for flaunting her luxurious lifestyle on social media. As she continually posts inside looks at her lavish life, Kylie receives more and more hate from fans. Last week, Kylie showed off her at-home workout on Instagram before later getting hated on for flaunting her full-blown at-home gym. In that situation, Kylie was perceived as being insensitive to the fact that most people do not have access to gym equipment within their homes.
Once again, Kylie Jenner is being bashed for flaunting her over-the-top and lavish lifestyle on social media. With spring right around the corner, Kylie posted a photo on Instagram (seen below) of an inside look at her bright and vibrant spring wardrobe. While her post was likely intended to be quite innocent, her followers felt otherwise. Kylie was actually perceived as doing too much by showing off her designer items. It is quite clear that she has a ton of wealth, but it is not necessary for her to continually rub it in the faces of others. One user even pointed out that this small portion of Kylie's closet is equivalent to the cost of college tuition.
It is awfully questionable what Kylie's wardrobe has to do with spring being just 13 days away. As such, the fans are tired of Kylie constantly flaunting her wealth especially considering the current state of the world. One user wrote, "Great collection but probably not the best time to be flaunting your wealth when so many are struggling during the pandemic." Many comments explained how frustrating this post is as they have rent due in a few days, are behind on bills, and are struggling to find a job. On the other hand, a small group of loyal Kylie fans came to her defense, questioning why people cannot accept the fact that there are some people that are extremely wealthy and happy about it.
Kylie's Instagram posts have been quite controversial. Between the constant insensitive posts to the continual photoshopping, fans haven't been the happiest with the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star. Despite admiring Kylie for her success, it seems as though many fans wish her posts could be a little more relatable and down to earth.
