There are several different currencies that players can use in Curse of the Dead Gods. This guide shows players how to get Blood Emblems.
Like its much more popular peer Hades, Curse of the Dead Gods requires players to spend quite a bit of time with its progression system. Those who want to make it further in the game and increase their abilities will need to spend many different forms of currency to unlock weapons, special abilities, and even blessings from the Gods themselves. Each form of progression only serves to make the player that much stronger.
Without a doubt, one of the most important forms of currency in Curse of the Dead Gods though is Blood Emblems. Unlike other types of currency, the player will need these to unlock a great many different things in between runs, so they will want to have as many in their possession as possible. This guide shows players how to acquire Blood Emblems in Curse of the Dead Gods.
The reason why Blood Emblems are so important is that the vast majority of content in Curse of the Dead Gods is locked when the game begins. For example if players open up the upgrade page or try to choose a temple to fight through they will notice that several of them will have a red symbol and a chain across them. That means that these items are locked and will require Blood Emblems to unlock them. In order to progress further into the game to defeat the game's bosses players will need quite a few of these Blood Emblems to unlock new tiers to each temple.
There is a very simple and easy way to collect these temples though. Most forms of currency are obtained by defeating enemies or opening chests, but Blood Emblems are instead earned by completely making their way through a run. The game is split into three different temples and each temple has three tiers each. Whenever a player makes their way all the way through each tiers room and makes their way back to the hub they will earn Blood Emblems. By using these Emblems to in turn unlock higher level tiers of temples the player will open up even more opportunities for themselves to earn Blood Emblems. This basically means that the quickest way to progress in the game is to work hard to complete one successful run and then spend the reward unlocking new areas to check out.
Curse of the Dead Gods can be played on PC.
