My lover won’t leave his wife until he gets back £80k she took from joint account
DEAR DEIDRE: MY lover’s wife took £80,000 out of the joint account and put it into her own. He’s told me he won’t leave her till he gets his money back.
I’ve been involved with him for nearly three years. I know it’s wrong, but we fell for each other.
He’s 47 and I’m a single 57-year-old woman. We work together in HR for a big company.
He’s asked me to wait for him but it may take years and now she holds this money, I’m wondering if he’ll ever be free of her.
I’m trying to be patient but I really want to get on with our lives together. I’m so frustrated.
Is there any way I can help him get his money back or do I need to cut my losses and call our affair off?
