CONOR McGREGOR ‘absolutely’ deserves a share in UFC, claimed movie legend Sylvester Stallone.
The former two-weight world champion, 32, will come out of his third retirement to face Dustin Poirier at UFC 257 this weekend.
When McGregor retired from UFC for the second time, Stallone claimed The Notorious should have a way in.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, the 73-year-old also hinted he’d help McGregor along the way.
When asked if he would “give him a little piece of yours”, Stallone responded “of course”.
The legendary actor, nicknamed Sly, was one of 23 people who bought shares in the fighting organisation when it was involved in a £4billion takeover back in 2016.
And two others, fellow actor Mark Wahlberg and talk show host Conan O’Brien, were challenged by McGregor for a fight for their shares.
Speaking previously to TMZ, O’Brien had said: “I will fight him for his [share].
“If he can take me in the Octagon!”
While clearly said in jest, it’s a challenge that has since been accepted by The Notorious.

He tweeted out: “Challenge accepted Conan! I’ll whoop you and Walhberg [sic] in the same night.
“Double shares for the Double Champ!”
McGregor admitted last year that he stepped away from UFC as it does not “excite” him any more.
During an interview with ESPN, he said: “The game just does not excite me and that’s that.
“All this waiting around. There’s nothing happening.
“I’m going through opponent options, an there’s nothing really there at the minute. That’s nothing that’s exciting me.
“They should have just kept the ball rolling.
“I mean, why are they pushing [Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Justin Gaethje] back to September?
“You know what’s going to happen in September, something else is going to happen in September, and that’s not going to happen.
“I laid out a plan and a method that was the right move, the right methods to go with.
“And they always want to balk at that and not make it happen or just drag it on.”
