DEAR DEIDRE: MY boyfriend and I cheated on one another but we’ve worked through that bad patch and are still happily together, thanks to you.
I am a woman of 23 and he is 25. He’s loving and caring. We’d been happily together for two years when I went on a hen weekend in the summer. I got drunk and had sex with a guy at my hotel.
I admitted what I’d done to my boyfriend straight away. We talked and agreed we wanted to work through it.
A couple of weeks later he admitted he had previously cheated on me and had been messaging other girls.
That’s when I wrote to you and we both found your reply very helpful. You sent us advice on how to strengthen our relationship and reassured us that only we could decide if we could make it. I am pleased to say we are in a very good place.
