Rugby clubs supporting the community
Although rugby activity had to pause due to the impact of COVID-19, clubs across the province were quick to take action to help support their local communities. From prescription runs to delivering food parcels; from collecting donations to calling vulnerable members, several clubs provided assistance to residents in their area.
To name a few clubs, Lurgan, Coleraine, Dungannon, Letterkenny, City of Derry, Lisburn, Malone, Randalstown, Portadown, Banbridge and Ballynahinch all provided support during this time.
Ulster Rugby would like to sincerely thank all of the volunteers who gave – and continue to give – their time and effort to help their local communities.
Rugby clubs across Ulster are offering to help those in need in their local communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
