TV host Melanie Sykes seems to have cast her gondolier lover adrift — after she was pictured enjoying a cosy day out with tattooed model Jake Smith.
Mel, 50, was deep in conversation with the hunk, 39, as they strolled in a park last week.
The pair are said to have grown close over their love of fitness.
An onlooker in Hampstead Heath, North West London, said: “They seemed very comfortable in each other’s company and were lost in conversation.
“She was smiling a lot and he had her full attention.”
Mel recently gushed of Jake: “You are a gorgeous creature in every way.”
He replied with a heart emoji: “Back at you.”
Mel, who has previously dated actor Steve Coogan, 55, and singer Olly Murs, 26, recently breached Covid rules to visit Venice gondolier Riccardo Simionato, 23.
They met in October when Mel was on holiday and she went back to see him last month.
However she was pictured out in London days after her return.
Mel’s agent insisted those who “frequently travel for work are exempt from quarantine on their return”.

Mel, who shot to fame in the 1990s as the face of Boddingtons beer, has been divorced twice and has two sons, 16 and 18.
She recently revealed how disappointed she was in British men – likening their way of speaking to women with TV comedy character Keith Lemon.
She said: “I would be surprised, and indeed it would be a miracle, if any of these men are actually getting laid.”
