Fabrizio Romano reveals the likelihood of Dele Alli leaving Spurs next month
Fabrizio Romano has claimed on the Here We Go Podcast (as relayed by ThisisFutbol) that there is a ‘huge chance’ Dele Alli could leave Tottenham Hotspur when the transfer window reopens next month.
Alli came on as a late substitute during Tottenham’s 2-1 defeat at Anfield on Wednesday and the 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace, the midfielder’s first Premier League appearances since Spurs’ win at Old Trafford at the start of October.
Most of the England international’s minutes this season have come in the Europa League but the 24-year-old’s involvement on Wednesday could be a positive sign, with Football.London reporting that Alli was picked ahead of Carlos Vinicius to be on the bench.
However, multiple reports have indicated that Spurs are open to letting Dele Alli leave on loan next month, with moves to both Paris Saint-Germain (Daily Mail) and Everton ( Mirror) mooted as possibilities.
Romano has become the latest source to confirm that the midfielder is likely to leave Spurs in January.

A loan deal would probably be ideal for all parties as it would allow Alli to get some game time under his belt and regain some confidence before returning to Spurs in the summer. Even if the club decides to sell the 24-year-old permanently at the end of the season, a promising loan spell at PSG or Everton could certainly add £10-£20m to his price tag.
