Kaysar Ridha is one of the most iconic houseguests to ever play Big Brother. Originally appearing in Big Brother 6, he then joined the game to appear on both all-star seasons, Big Brother 7 and Big Brother 22.
While Kaysar is undoubtedly an absolute icon in the world of Big Brother, can he really be considered an all-star? His track record is less than impressive, but at the same time, he's certainly made his mark even with said track record. Kaysar certainly has some points in his favor, but just as many against him at the same time.
As already noted, it has to be mentioned that Kaysar has competed on the show three times so far, Big Brother 6, 7, and 22. Very few other houseguests have managed this feat.
In fact, he's only bested by his friend Janelle, who appeared on all those seasons along with 14. It's a testament to Kaysar that production continues to ask him back to the show.
On the same note, it has to be mentioned that Kaysar hasn't made it to the jury during any of the three times he's played the game.
He's made it close each time, sure, but making it as even the first jury member shouldn't be too much of a stretch. Nevertheless, Kaysar plays hard no matter how high the cards seem stacked against him.
It's a pretty widely accepted fact that Big Brother 6 and 7 are two of the best seasons in the show's history, if not the best. Big Brother 6 and 7 are full of houseguests that played the game hard, fantastic competitions, wild strategies, and some of the best to ever play.
Kaysar was a huge part of both of these seasons. While he did leave the game pretty early both times, he left his mark each time he played.
One of Big Brother 6's most notorious moments is when Kaysar and Jennifer are the final two houseguests in the pressure cooker HOH competition, and Kaysar gives Jennifer the win under the agreement that James would be eliminated that week, and two people from her side of the house would be nominated before he was evicted.
Immediately after, two people from Kaysar's side of the house go up, and Kaysar is evicted the same week. While Jennifer was evicted the next week in an absolute fit of rage by Janelle, Kaysar should have never given the competition to her.
Each season that Kaysar has appeared on, he's used his platform for good. Whether it was giving the world a wonderful Muslim role model during the Iraq War or promoting social causes such as Black Lives Matter during his time on Big Brother 22, Kaysar always makes sure that when he has a platform, he uses it to make a difference.
One of the reasons that Kaysar goes home so early on every season that he plays on is that he just goes too hard too quickly. Honestly, this is something that we need more of in the current era of Big Brother, people who aren't afraid to play the game.
Kaysar usually plays a bit too aggressively, which leads to him getting targeted, but at the very least, he doesn't play scared like most players now do.
Kaysar is incredibly strategic on the game of Big Brother. He was the first houseguest to figure out that everyone in the house had a secret partner in Big Brother 6, and used it to further himself in the game.
He also formed a strong bond with Janelle after both of their partners were taken out of the game. He knows how to play the game, even if it comes back to bite him sometimes.
Kaysar has only managed to win one competition during each season he has appeared on the show. This includes his Safety Suite win on Big Brother 22, which he used to save Janelle and himself from eviction that week.
This is pretty low across three seasons, even if it is a better track record than a few other houseguests that appeared on Big Brother 22.
Kaysar is responsible for delivering one of the most iconic lines in Big Brother history. After the Sovereign Six defeated Maggie in a Veto competition she needed to win, she tells Kaysar that he has sealed her fate.
He responds with, "No, I sealed your partner's fate." It is an absolutely fantastic line that will go down in history as one of the best in the show's history.
All in all, Big Brother 22 was a pretty bad season due to a number of factors. One of the best parts of the season was Janelle and Kaysar reuniting and playing the game together one more time.
While the two didn't last all too long, it was still a great time seeing these two friends teaming up to play the game together once more, and delivering plenty of adorable moments along the way.
