Tipperary’s Denis Lynch and the Onyx Consulting-owned GC Chopin’s Bushi once again showed why they are among the top combinations in World Show Jumping, after they came out on top in today’s (Sunday) €70,000 1m55 feature class at Riesenbeck in Germany. Riesenbeck was hosting the German National Championships this weekend and that ensured all of the top riders were in attendance, however it was the Irish National anthem that played out at the end of the competition with Lynch collecting almost €20,000 for his victory. Drawn 11th to go of 53 competitors, Lynch set what proved an unbeatable clear in 64.02 seconds to take the winners prize of almost €20,000. Lynch had nearly a second-and-a-half to spare over German runner-up Maurice Tebbel with Don Diarado, while Christian Kukuk (GER) finished third with Quintino.
