Darcey & Stacey: Everything To Know About Their 1st Show, The Twin Life

Here's everything we need to know about Darcey & Stacey's first show, The Twin Life. Fans were not surprised that the ladies had already dipped their toes into the reality TV world.

Arguably the most popular twins on the world right, Darcey and Stacey Silva are riding high after obtaining one million followers on Instagram. The Silva’s got their rise to fame thanks to Darcey’s over the top antics and habit of falling in love with a much younger, foreign man. Now thanks to the success of the TLC franchise the two sisters are making the most of their 15 minutes of fame.

TLC fans may not have known that the two women starred in their own reality show before their 90 Day Fiancé success. On the original show called, The Twin Life, fans were introduced to the girl’s whole family including their husbands at the time. Starcasm first shared how different the twin looked. Stacey was married to a Serbian soccer player named Goran Vasic. The couple had two sons together, Parker and Mateo. Darcey was married to Frank Bollock share two daughters Aspen and Aniko. The show aired back in 2010 right before the Silva’s both divorced their respected men on the same day. The show never left the cutting room floor, but they did film a pilot episode. The episodes introduced the entire family with all four children. In the opening sequence, the girls introduce themselves, "I’m Darcey and I’m Stacey. We’re two busy moms and wives dreaming of making it in showbiz. Oh, and did I mention we’re twins? And we live under one roof? There’s always a double dose of drama in our world! Welcome to The Twin Life!"  The house still looks like the same one that they reside in thanks to their father. The mothers are 10 years younger. They are still done up to the nines but not in the way they are today. They are sporting brunette extensions. The husbands do not fare that much better as Frank explains that he is an up and coming rapper.

No matter how the women climbed their way to fame they have made it to the top of the C-List. Fans enjoy watching the women each week as they manipulate their love lives while still raising their children. It seems that it was a good thing that the original show got canceled as now they are older and wiser.
