James Giugliano of Netflix's Million Dollar Beach House has stood out among the real estate agents on the show as one of the strongest. While dealing with properties worth $35 million, the 31-year-old realtor is also a husband and father to a baby boy. But, James isn't the only one in the Giugliano household with a success story. His wife Kelsey has a heroic and inspiring background herself.
The hit Netflix show Million Dollar Beach House follows the real estate business within the upscale Hamptons. The show introduces viewers to the professional and personal lives of Nest Seeker's real estate agents - JB Andreassi, Michael Fulfree, Noel Roberts, Peggy Zabakolas, and James Giugliano. Through the ups, downs and office quarrels, James has set himself apart from his coworkers by focusing solely on selling. The market in the Hamptons area is tough, as the typical buyer is typically looking for a holiday home and not a residential property. However, James still emerges as the top and most successful agent of the brokerage.
While on the show, James revealed that he's happily married and expecting his first child with his wife. Their fairytale love story began in 2011 and led to a proposal on February 15, 2015. They went on to exchange their vows in a beautiful outdoor ceremony on October 15, 2016, in Isle of Palms, South Carolina. The lovebirds welcomed their son Rocco James on January 15. Kelsey's Instagram shows off her love for motherhood and family. It also turns out that James isn't the only successful seller in the Giugliano household. In addition to caring for their 8-month-old son, Kelsey is also a proud sales consultant with the skincare line Rodan + Fields.
Her Rodan + Fields profile page shows that she goes by the name Kelsey Rocco in the professional setting. According to her bio, she started selling the skincare product after it became the only solution to her acne problem. “As a bride-to-be, breaking out with acne can become very stressful and cause even more and worse breakouts,” her profile reads. “I finally decided to take action and learn about a product that I’ve heard many people talk about. I took a leap of faith and tried the product. Not only did it work, it was a game changer.”
She often shares empowering quotes and highlights other female sellers on her page. Kelsey has a strong passion for life that could've been brought on after surviving cancer. She opened up about her battle with the disease in June 2018. "A few months ago my incredible sister found a suspiciously large nodule on my thyroid that we felt needed to be checked out," she revealed. "On top of losing hair, gaining weight, feeling beyond exhausted and like I was out of control of my mind I went onto a series of testing," she continued. The young consultant expressed the toll the health scare had on her. "After months of prodding and poking my neck and test results the term “follicular thyroid cancer” was used and our minds went crazy".
The experience opened Kelsey's eyes to the importance of health and family. "While I’m so so so lucky that surgery will likely be the end of my journey here it’s an extremely rude awakening as a 27 year old to feel your body turn on you in such a harsh way" she added. With such a touching story, it's more clear where Kelsey's joy for life comes from. Her passion appears to have a strong impact on her husband. It's no wonder he made $200 million in commission last year!
