Officers were called to Adelina’s Bar and Kitchen on Thursday night and forced everyone at the party to leave.
Pictures from the night apparently show wedding guests crammed into the bar before the cops arrived to break up the gathering.
Swansea Council has issued the owners of the restaurant with an immediate closure notice for failing to protect customers, according to Wales Online.
It now has 14 days to put in place new measures – including two-metre social distancing and controlled use of toilets.

A spokeswoman for South Wales Police said: “South Wales Police responded to a report of a gathering at the Adelina’s Bar and Kitchen, Mumbles Road, Swansea, at approximately 7.10pm on Thursday, September 24.
“Upon arrival officers found large number of people in attendance at a private function.
“The function was shut down and all attendees ordered to leave.
“Further enforcement action by South Wales Police and Swansea Council is currently being considered.”
The gathering comes just days before new strict lockdown rules are set to come into force in Wales.
New measures will be implemented in Cardiff and the county of Swansea from Sunday at 6pm.
The town of Llanelli will also face new restrictions from Saturday at 6pm.
People will only be able to meet people they don’t live with outdoors for the time being – and they won’t be able to leave the area without a reasonable excuse.
Swansea recorded 28 new cases of coronavirus on Friday.
Councillor David Hopkins, cabinet member for delivery and operations and deputy leader, said: “We told businesses that we would take firm action if they failed to comply with Welsh Government rules.
“The latest lockdown measures mean it is now more important than ever that businesses pay attention to the latest regulations so we can keep the public safe and help prevent the spread of the virus.
“Many businesses in the city are doing the right thing, taking their responsibilities seriously and abiding by the rules.
“Those who don’t abide by the rules put their communities at risk and that is unacceptable.”
