DEAR DEIDRE: SINCE losing my dear wife to cancer three years ago I have felt desperately lonely. I hate being on my own.
I met a lovely lady through friends last autumn and we planned a week’s holiday together in a cottage near the sea this summer. We’re now in a “bubble” together.

I am 78, she is 64 and we have fallen in love.
