My girlfriend seems to have lost interest in sex and says it’s painful for her
DEAR DEIDRE: SEX was great with my girlfriend at the start of our relationship but now our sex life is more or less dead.
I’m 29 and she’s 28.
We’ve been together 18 months and used to have sex once or twice every day, now we get to make love every couple of weeks – if I’m lucky, that is.
It seems like she’s really lost interest in sex.
She has suffered from depression in the past and it seems like that’s back.
She says sex is painful for her.
I feel the relationship is falling apart because of this problem with sex but I don’t know what to do, as I do love her.
