Coronation Street fans sickened as Tim reveals he hasn’t emptied his bin in weeks
CORONATION Street viewers were horrified tonight after Tim Metcalfe revealed he hadn’t emptied his bin in weeks.
The taxi driver – who is played by actor Joe Duttine in the ITV soap – has finally turned on his evil dad Geoff after seeing evidence of his abuse against wife Yasmeen.
But in tonight’s episode he began to feel guilt about not believing his mum Elaine when she arrived on the cobbles and told him who she was.
As he spoke to wife Sally in the cab office, Tim remembered that when he had chased her out of the cab office last month.
Elaine had written her phone number on an envelope and the envelope contained her address.
“Hang on a minute she wrote her number on the back of an envelope,” he said before beginning to dig through the office bin.
He found the envelope and Elaine’s address and phone number and went to find her – but fans were horrified that during the middle of a pandemic Tim hadn’t emptied the bin for weeks.
One wrote: “How long as it been since Tim emptied that bin?! #Corrie #CoronationStreet,” while another said: “My gawd that bin really did need emptied.”
A third person recalled: “It was a few backs that we saw him throw away the address!”
Another added: “streetcars should hire a cleaner to clean it once a day. I could clean it.”

Meanwhile he went to find Elaine while Sally reported her missing with the police.
But after arriving at her house, he discovered she hadn’t been there for weeks and faced another setback.
