Joy-Anna Duggar breaks down in tears and screams during ‘intense’ labor pains in graphic birth video
JOY-ANNA Duggar has shared an intimate and graphic video from inside the hospital room where she gave birth to her baby girl.
The Duggar daughter and her husband Austin Forsyth welcomed daughter Evelyn in mid-August and the pair have shared the day on their YouTube channel for fans.
In the 12-minute long video, Joy-Anna reveals that she was in so much pain she opted for an epidural before taking the time to rest and have a nap before contractions began again.
Her waters were broken by the doctor the morning after she entered hospital, and she entered labor on her own before beginning delivery.
In the video she keeps a close hold on Austin, as the pair talk to the nurses about their son Gideon and how excited they are for their baby girl to be born.
As delivery begins, the nurses teach her techniques to breathe through the pain and help her baby enter the world, with Austin encouraging her: “Here’s our baby, here’s our baby, Jesus, help her out.”
Austin later shared: “At around 1pm Joy started pushing and our baby girl arrived at 2:12pm!
“The baby was posterior (sunny side up), so that explains why Joy had such terrible back labor and why she had to push so long! So thankful that Mom and Baby are doing good!!!”
Evelyn was born on August 21, 2020 with the reality television star writing on Instagram: “To say my heart is full is an understatement.
“We have been dreaming of this day and are so happy to announce that our baby girl arrived August 21st at 2:12pm weighing 8lbs 5oz and is 19.5” long!”

The baby girl is a rainbow baby for the couple after Joy-Anna suffered a miscarriage in 2019.
The couple went in for a routine ultrasound checkup at 20 weeks when the doctor did not sense a heartbeat in the child.
