One Week 2 Challenge for Fortnite Season 4 asks players to destroy 7 boats at Craggy Cliffs. They can find kayaks and canoes, which break down fast.
Each of the new Marvel superhero skin sets for Fortnite Season 4 comes with several accessories, and most come with their own character-specific harvesting tool, like Thor's hammer or Storm's lightning bolt. During matches, players can demolish items using the harvesting tool and break them down into wood, iron, and stone materials. They can later use these materials to build anything they need to help them get an advantage in the game. Players can also build to help them complete challenges. In several previous Weekly Challenges, players have either been asked to collect materials or to destroy a certain number of items. During Week 2 of Season 4, players will need to use their new harvesting tools, or just a really good weapon, to destroy some boats.
Destroying items in the game can be straightforward, but dangerous. The danger comes from how time-consuming it often is to hit an item a set number of times until it completely breaks down, then repeat that while constantly avoiding becoming a target for an opportunistic opponent. One Week 2 Challenge asks players to destroy 7 boats at the Craggy Cliffs named location on the map. This won't be too easy a feat for a player looking to complete the challenge in one match, but it can be done. Here's how to destroy all 7 boats and check off this Fortnite Season 4 Week 2 Challenge.
To destroy the seven boats needed to complete the challenge, players will want to land at Craggy Cliffs if possible. There are several boats in this location, all made from different materials and with varying levels of difficulty to break down. Some, like wooden and metal canoes and kayaks, count toward this challenge and will break in two to four hits. Others, like metal speed boats, will take a lot of time based on size.
Players should probably opt for the less difficult boats, since the game does not require them to destroy the larger motorboats specifically. This will take them less time. There are several kayaks attached to the outside of buildings in the beachfront neighborhood of Craggy Cliffs that are especially good for completing this challenge more quickly. Players will find these either on the beach beside a storage shed northeast of the town, or specifically within the town.
Players will most want to watch for opponents during this challenge. Craggy Cliffs is a very popular place to land. In addition, any time they have their harvesting tool out, or their backs to the rest of the game while they engage with the boats, they are vulnerable to attacks by other players. Players may congregate in this area because they know others will be looking to complete the challenge and will be easy to kill, or because Quinjets sometimes land there. It is a good idea to scout the area before starting to hack away at boats.
Players will earn 25,000 XP toward their Battle Pass for completing this challenge.
Fortnite is available for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
