DEAR DEIDRE: I HATE my big brother so much that I can barely be in the same room as him.
Even hearing about him puts me in a bad mood for days.
My team and I are working safely from home but we are here to help you as always.

He’s 28, three years older than me. He’s always been an irresponsible, selfish, thoughtless bloke.
He misbehaved at school, treated my parents with total contempt and got in trouble with the police.
He seemed to enjoy hurting everyone. I thought he’d end up in jail but he now works in sales and earns way more than me.
He’s got a beautiful girlfriend as well but he’s still his usual cocky, unpleasant self.
I’m a hard-working guy and I’ve tried to do the right thing. I went to university like my parents wanted me to but I’m still struggling to find a good job. I can’t even afford to leave home.
My feelings of bitterness towards my big brother are eating me up.
DEIDRE SAYS: I do understand your dismay that life seems so unfair but try to be glad that your parents aren’t stressed about him like they so often must have been in the past.
It’s your life that counts so don’t waste your energy comparing yourself with your brother.
Job satisfaction matters more than money.
Focus on finding a job that you love and looking at ways to make your life more fulfilling outside of work.
