I have been out with Toby today who wanted to look at some top tips for improving efficiency on roped scrambles. He has been happily ticking off grade 3 routes under his own steam and we plumped for Dolmen Ridge (3) as our route of choice as it has a bit of everything from pitched climbing to short pitching to taking the rope for a walk. It has been pretty grim weather with heavy rain and strong winds but that didn’t dampen the enthusiasm – it did make the tea taste better though after our descent of Bristly Ridge!
