Tamar Bates set to announce Friday

Tamar Bates, the 6-foot-4 combo guard from Kansas City, KS and IMG Academy (FL), will announce his college decision in an Instagram Live session with Rivals.com on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. ET, per Eric Bossi.

Ranked the No. 9 combo guard in the Class of 2021 per 247Sports.com, Bates will choose between Kansas, Iowa State, Missouri, Creighton, Texas, Oregon and Alabama.
