MARIETTA, Ga. ---- Life University Director of Athletics Jayme Pendergast officially announced the hiring of Nate Garcia as the new men and women's bowling head coach Thursday morning.
"I'm thrilled to have Nate join our staff," Pendergast stated. "Nate has bowled at one of the top collegiate programs in the entire country, has, experienced some of the best coaching, and knows what it takes to win a national championship. Throughout the hiring process Nate and I had many conversations and what impressed me most was his ability to articulate a vision for the program and a realistic plan to give our bowling student-athletes a first-class experience. I love coaches who are hungry to do meaningful work and aren't afraid of a challenge. I laid everything out for him and he is meeting the challenge with anticipation and excitement. I think that Nate will not only raise the standard for our bowling program, but also fit in really well with the rest of our coaching and administrative staff."
