We hope all our members / competitors are well & have been able to make the best of an awful & sometimes confusing situation over the past 5 months. After Covid led to the cancellation all our planned Summer events (we hope to reschedule for 2021 where possible) we are very happy to report that we are getting things back up & running next month with Stapleton Winter TREC on Sunday 27th September.
Entries are now open & the schedule is available on the Events page & the TREC GB website. This should be a lovely, friendly event that would be an ideal introduction to those new to the sport. Please note this event will be held outdoors not in an indoor arena. Entries may need to be limited so we would advise you get them in early to avoid disappointment! (Please see the schedule for entry restrictions)
As things are not quite back to normal there will be extra precautions / procedures in place to safeguard our judges & competitors. Full instructions will be sent out in advance.
We are still in need of helpers for this event. We could not run these events without volunteers & are always grateful for your help. If you are not in a high risk group for Covid & would be able to spare us some time please email sheila@white-horse-trec.co.uk with your availability.
Preparations for WHTG camp are also going well. All places are filled & it will be run in accordance with all TREC GB risk asessments for Covid-19.
Finally a reminder that this years membership (01/11/19 onwards) will roll until 30/09/21. Can those of you with a standing order set up please amend it in line with this. Any overpayment shall be viewed as a donation to support the club and shall not be refunded. For those looking to join us our current fees are £15 for adults & £10 for under 21s.
