The Weirdest Way To Use The Infinity Stones Marvel Ever Came Up With
When a Marvel hero or villain obtains an Infinity Stone-loaded Infinity Gauntlet, they possess the most powerful weapon in the entire universe. However, in one comic, if the Great Lakes Avengers' lawyer obtained the gauntlet, she would have used it in the weirdest way yet.
The Great Lakes Avengers are one of the more bizarre superteams assembled. It's filled with misfit and oddball characters, with the all-new, all-different version of the squad featuring a handful of deep-cut characters, including Flatman, Big Bertha, and Doorman. That series saw the team regain the rights to the Avenger name and reform. However, once they got involved in a bar fight with the villainous Nain Rouge, the superteam needed assistance to get out of jail. That's when they called in the law firm of Ferrari & Hindel Associates, where lawyer Connie Ferrari was quick to defend her clients in a pretty gross way.
After the Great Lakes Avengers try to break out of jail, Ferrari arrives on the scene and defends her clients with her seriously twisted imagination. She tells cops that the police officers need to explain why the Avengers were thrown in prison for doing their job. She then threatens the entire force by telling them "I'm going to shove an Infinity Gauntlet so far up this station's collective ass that you'll all be erasing realities when you fart."
Thankfully, Ferrari's description of how she'd shove the Infinity Gauntlet up someone's butts has never been tested. Although, it's slightly reminiscent of the hilarious fan-theory from Avengers: Endgame that suggested Ant-Man could defeat an Infinity Gauntlet-wielding Thanos by shrinking down to size, climbing inside his rear-end and when he's inside of the Marvel villain, he would expand and kill him. The theory inspired plenty of memes. In this case, Ferrari's threat is worse than Ant-Man's potential journey inside Thanos.
There's no answer to whether the Infinity Gauntlet is capable of erasing realities with a fart if it was shoved up someone's backside. Ferrari's suggestion might make no sense in actuality or application, but as a threat it's great. It shows that she's very serious about defending her client and isn't afraid to play a little dirty to free her clients from prison - even if that means threatening the police with reality-erasing farts courtesy of the Infinity Gauntlet. It's definitely the weirdest suggested use of the Infinity Gauntlet ever printed.
