On Tuesday, MAKERS teased a conversation between Meghan Markle and Gloria Steinem that is set to air on Wednesday. 

For the "historic backyard chat," the Duchess of Sussex embraced her laid-back California vibe in a casual look.

Markle wore a white T-shirt with $249 striped trousers from Anine Bing. 

She accessorized her look with a $356 Janessa Leone Serena hat that was available for preorder, and $795 Stella McCartney sandals that were on sale for $477 at the time of writing. 

In honor of the conversation, Janessa Leone announced on Instagram that it would be donating 10% of proceeds on all orders made online through Sunday to I am a voter, which is described on the website as "a nonpartisan movement dedicated to creating a cultural shift around voting and civic engagement."

Markle had certain style rules she had to follow during her time as a member of the royal family. But since moving back to the US, the 39-year-old has started to wear more casual looks.

On Friday, Baby2Baby shared photos on Instagram of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at a drive-thru volunteer event where the two gave out school supplies and toiletries.

For the charity event, Markle wore a $15 blue seersucker face mask from the Black-owned brand Royal Jelly Harlem with a $430 Victoria Beckham shirt, beige shorts, and $80 Adidas Stan Smith sneakers.
