How to live stream Tottenham’s three pre-season friendlies

Tottenham have announced they will play pre-season friendlies against Ipswich Town, Reading and Birmingham City ahead of the new campaign.

All three games will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, but unfortunately the club is making some fans pay to watch them.

Renewed season ticket holders and One Hotspur members (who renew before 17 August) can watch for free, but others aren’t so lucky.

If you book before Monday on the club’s official website, you can watch all three games for £15. After that it’s a £20 package, or £10 per match.

It’s a shame some supporters are being made to fork out given pre-season friendlies are usually televised on relatively accessible channels in the UK.

But in fairness these games are ordinarily a source of revenue for the club, with fans paying to attend.

The first match is against Ipswich on Saturday 22 August. Then it’s Reading on Friday 28 August, and finally Birmingham on Saturday 29 August, all kicking off at 3pm.

With the Reading and Birmingham games taking place within a day of each other, Jose Mourinho will likely use two completely different squads for those matches.
