How to Get Gold Bullets in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
As time has passed in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, players have been given many ways to experiment with different customization options in the game. Players can add different attachments to their weapons that will boost stats in different ways. They can also acquire new skins for each weapon that will change the looks of them in-game. These customization options are a lot of fun and can give players an edge in battle or help them look just a little bit cooler to other players.
One very interesting way to add some flair to a player's weapons is to equip some tracer rounds. By equipping these rounds a player's weapons will have a colorful trail for each bullet when its fired. These rounds can range from blue to red and even green. Modern Warfare has now introduced gold tracer rounds into the mix as well. This guide will show players how they can acquire the gold tracer rounds.
The downside to golden tracer rounds is that players won't be able to get them for just any gun in the game, and there is currently no way to acquire them without spending a little bit of in-game currency. There are only two guns in the entire game that can be equipped with golden rounds, but thankfully they are some of the better weapons in Modern Warfare.
In order to get golden tracer rounds, players will need to purchase The Executive Armorer bundle from the store which will set them back 2400 COD points. In real-world money this will cost about $20 for players unless they decide to grind out COD points on their own. This will take a considerable amount of time though. Purchasing this pack will give players The Armorer skin for Mace, the Golden Hew melee weapon, a few cosmetic items, and then the blueprints Mother Lode and Royal Coffer.
These two blueprints are how players will get the coveted golden tracer rounds. Mother Lode is a tricked out version of the Grau 5.56 while the Royal Coffer is a golden version of the Fennec sub-machine gun. Both of these weapons will come with golden tracer rounds, and will also have the golden dismemberment effect. This means that when the player kills other players, their bodies will be covered in gold. Both tracer rounds and the dismemberment effect are purely cosmetic, but they are still fun nonetheless.
