Selling Sunset: Justin Is 'Irritated' By How Chrishell Talks About Divorce
The ex-husband of Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause, Justin Hartley, is not happy with the way their divorce is being discussed on the newest season. A source states that he is "irritated" because the personal information is being shared publicly by his ex-wife.
Many fans know that season 3 of the show closely follows Chrishell and Justin's split. The 39-year-old claims that she has been blindsided, and she still loves her ex. While sharing her pain with one of her co-stars Mary Fitzgerald, she revealed that she had a fight with Justin that morning. And before she was due to leave for office, she got informed by him via text saying, "we were filed." While discussing her marital dynamics, she said that she is still "confused" and looking for some "answers" concerning her separation. After six years of dating, the couple tied the knot in October 2017. However, after two years of marriage, Justin filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. The former Days of Our Lives star also disclosed how Justin used to react during an argument, she said, "In a fight, that's his go-to, you know? Like, 'I'm out, I'm out.' I hate that kind of impulsive stuff, but I always just thought, you know, that's just an issue that we work through it."
According to Us Weekly, the 43-year-old actor is unhappy with the fact that his personal life is being watched by viewers worldwide. A source close to him revealed, "Justin has not watched the episodes but has been alerted to what is said." The source continued, "He's irritated that she's airing their private information publicly and knows there is more to the story than is being told. His close friends and family know what really happened, as does Chrishell, so ultimately it's her choice of what is put out there."
At one point in the show, the ex-wife also alleges that Justin changed after gaining massive popularity from his TV series, This Is Us. She said, "Outer elements have reared their ugly head and inserted themselves into our relationship." However, the source refuted the allegation and said, "The claims made in the show that something changed in Justin after his This is Us fame are completely false. Chrishell knows that's not what happened, so for her to let people believe that is upsetting to him."
The divorce also became the topic of discussion for the rest of the realtors. While Maya Vander believes that Chrishell may have been blindsided, Davina thinks that Justin would have his own side of the story. During Chrishell's tough time, the Oppenheim Group owner, Jason Oppenheim, has been seen as supportive of her. Even Christine Quinn is somewhat hopeful. She wants Chrishell to make her own name instead of just being referred to as Justin Hartley's ex-wife. Earlier, she revealed that the couple was having "communication problems," and the couple was in therapy. However, Chrishell completely denied this comment.
