My girlfriend and I have only had sex once since she had our daughter 15 months ago
DEAR DEIDRE: ME and my girlfriend have had sex once this year and that’s because we were having a “date night”. She’s not done it since.
I was making an effort to help her feel good back in March so I cooked her a meal and that was the one time we actually did have sex in 2020.

We had our first child 15 months ago.
My girlfriend will barely even kiss or cuddle me since our daughter was born.
She’s put on weight and moans that nothing fits her but I love her and tell her so.
When I mentioned sex yesterday she said: “The honeymoon period is over now.”
I didn’t know we’d had a honeymoon. We’re not even married. We are both 26.
DEIDRE SAYS: She is probably just exhausted.
That date night meal was special but how about taking it in turns to cook – and care for the baby, clean the loo and do the washing – so she gets a bit more breathing space?
