Jennifer Aniston is opening up about the delay in the Friends reunion, that was pushed back again amid the pandemic, by HBO Max.
The 51-year-old actress, who played Rachel Green on the series, spoke to Deadline about the delay, and while she’s sad about it, is looking at it as a glass half-full situation.
“Unfortunately it’s very sad that we had to move it again,” Jennifer shared. “It was, ‘How do we do this with live audiences?’ This is not a safe time. Period. That’s the bottom line. It’s not a safe time to do it.”
While it was delayed, Jennifer says the set back will give the cast and creatives a chance to work on the reunion more.
“It’s going to be super. You know what? This has also given us more time to make it even more exciting and more fun than it would have been. So I choose to see it as the glass is half-full that it got postponed,” she says.
Jennifer added, “Look, we’re not going anywhere. You’re never going to get rid of Friends, sorry. You’re stuck with us for life guys.”
