Shop Buddy by Vista Mall eases contactless shopping

VISTA MALL has entered a partnership with delivery service newcomer Getmo by introducing its own personal shopping service. The Shop Buddy service can now also be availed at the following malls: Vista Mall Taguig, Vista Mall Sta. Rosa, NOMO – A Vista Lifestyle Center and, soon, Starmall Alabang.

Shop Buddy allows customers to place their orders through a designated mall hotline. For a list of available items, customers can head to the official Facebook page of their mall of choice or simply inquire through the hotline. Inquiries can be sent to the mall hotline via online messaging app Viber, SMS, or direct call. Once the orders are received and finalized, the total bill is then settled by the customer via electronic payment methods before their items can be delivered by Getmo.

Mall and store personnel handling the items are required to sanitize prior and after turnover of items to Getmo while partner drivers and riders are in complete personal protective equipment when making the deliveries. Deliveries are contactless since payment is required prior dispatch of items. The items will be left on the doorstep of customers or wherever they instruct the Getmo riders and drivers to leave them.

Shop Buddy and DropBUY, Vista Mall’s curbside pickup system, are innovative services introduced by the Villar Group through their malls. These services are highly recommended for those who understandably want to be extra cautious and those who are highly susceptible to the virus.
