Granted, there were a few that were shockingly expensive: Jim spent over a hundred dollars in season 3 when he sent Dwight and Michael (Steve Carell) "gaydar" equipment. The most expensive prank racked up over $3,000 according to the spreadsheet. This was when Jim and Pam (Jenna Fischer) took a class to learn morse code, which also involved hiring a nanny.
