Luke Amos has now opened up on how the injury he suffered last season took its toll on him both physically and emotionally.
Amos had impressed during Tottenham’s pre-season tour in 2018 and came on as a substitute to help Tottenham see off Newcastle in their first game of the campaign.
It seemed, at that point, as if the young midfielder was set to be the next academy product to break into the first-team under Mauricio Pochettino.
However, the 23-year-old suffered a ruptured ACL in September of the same year (Spurs official), which put him out of action for the entire season.
The defender, who spent the current season on loan at QPR, has now opened up on how difficult the situation was for him to deal with.
